Dunn’s River Falls Recording Uptick in Patronage since Reopening

President of Nurses Association of Jamaica (NAJ), Carmen Johnson (right), and NAJ Third Vice-President, Nancy Davis-Williams, are presented with personal protective equipment and other medical supplies by President of the Jamaica Chinese Friendship Association (JCFA), Irena Cousins (second left). The provisions include 200 infra-red thermometers and 200 facemasks for use by the nurses in the fight against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in Jamaica. The presentation was made during a brief ceremony at the NAJ’s head office in Kingston, on Friday (July 24). Looking on is JCFA Vice-President, Wilson Look Kin. The masks were donated by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Jamaica and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) in Beijing. The CPAFFC is the JCFA’s parent body. The donation was also made possible through the JCFA’s COVID-19 fund raising drive.
