Jamaica Records Five New COVID-19 Cases

The provisions include 200 infra-red thermometers and 200 facemasks for use by the nurses in the fight against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in Jamaica. The presentation was made during a brief ceremony at the NAJ’s head office in Kingston, on Friday (July 24). Looking on is JCFA Vice-President, Wilson Look Kin. The masks were donated by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Jamaica and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) in Beijing. The CPAFFC is the JCFA’s parent body. The donation was also made possible through the JCFA’s COVID-19 fund raising drive.
