Education Ministry To Roll Out School Resocialisation Programmes

The project contributed to the empowerment of youth to actively participate in Jamaica’s citizen security governance and policymaking mechanisms, supported by the Ministry of National Security, the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The donation forms part of the UNDP’s commitment to inclusive growth and ensuring that no one gets left behind and increase the number of braille writers that the School now has at its disposal to serve students, teachers, and staff. The provisions are part of a multimillion-dollar donation of critical equipment to the school along with the Jamaica Association for the Deaf (JAD), and Combined Disabilities Association (CDA).
