Former Speaker of the House of Representatives and former Member of Parliament, Pearnel Patroe Charles, is conferred with the Order of Jamaica (OJ) for distinguished Public Service. He is one of over 200 Jamaicans recognised for outstanding contribution to nation building during the virtual 2021 National Honours and Awards ceremony aired on National Heroes’ Day, Monday, October 18.
