Business Development Support For Women

Director of the National Shelter Programme in the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Dr. Tamika Peart (right), cuts the ribbon to officially open the $14 million facility for abused women in St. Andrew today (August 19). Also sharing in the occasion are: First Secretary and Director of Economic and Cooperation at the Embassy of Japan, Noriko Oshima (left), and Chairman and Founder of Woman Inc, Angela Stewart (centre). Establishment of the shelter was done by Woman Inc, with funding from the Embassy of Japan.
