Like all Jamaicans, I was shocked this morning to hear of the untimely passing of the Hon. Roger Clarke.
Minister Clarke was an exceptional servant of our people and country, and I am grateful for the opportunity I had to work with him during my time at the Ministry of Agriculture.
In this time of grief, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, particularly his wife and children, but also his extended family: the people of Central Westmoreland, his staff at the Ministry and the People’s National Party.
May his soul rest in peace!
