Saturdays are expensive for women. Saturdays involve chores, (usually starting at the crack of dawn), any shopping that needs to be done for the household….supermarket, setting things up so that the rest of the week can run smoothly.
So, for the group of women gathered at the Wortley Home for Girls on Saturday, May 23, all helming individual homes, the personal sacrifices made to be present at 10am on a Saturday: would have been considerable, but for the Mothers Who pray: it’s worth every single second.
