Many of you are probably wondering what’s happening with the Constant Spring Road Improvement Project, especially business owners and persons who frequent the area.
As the National Works Agency NWA says the Mandela Highway is practically complete, with motorists now enjoying use of both carriageways comprising six lanes. Important safety works however continue along a few sections of the project site where traffic is not yet permitted and motorists are advised not to use.
Paving works are almost complete on the Dyke Road Box Culvert and Passage fort Drive and Dyke Road in Portmore St. Catherine have been reconnected as works are substantially complete to fix a section of the roadway that collapsed after heavy rains in late 2017.
The Major Infrastructure Development Programme MIDP is slowly but surely nearing its end, and with it will come the delivery of eagerly awaited road development projects across the island.
