As part of efforts to help commuters remain safe as they travel, the Ministry of Transport is looking to make greater use of technology in enforcing the road rules and improving overall road safety. The use of technology is expected to reduce the burden placed on members of the security forces to serve as a deterrent against traffic violations, and to increase efficiency in identifying violators.
