It was the first Sunday evening in October and Jamaicans were out and about in pursuit of meeting their entertainment needs!
The parking lot in the National Arena was filling up faster than a thousand-dollar gas purchase, but the parking lot attendants on duty looked a little different last Sunday. They were in white. Long, flowing garments worn by the brothers at the Missionaries of the Poor, who as the Jamaican crowd poured in, handled eager attendees with the patience of Job.
It was the first weekend showing of the latest Father Ho Lung and Friends musical Productions, and if the brothers asked for Jamaica’s support, patrons did not disappoint, secure in the knowledge that they would not be…Not if the quality of productions we’ve come to expect, remained consistent.
