With the 2024/25 new school year now in full swing, students, teachers and staff at Mount Moriah Primary School in St. Ann and Pisgah Primary and Infant school in St. Elizabeth are eager for the commencement of work to upgrade the infrastructure of their schools. $380 million will be invested for expansion and rehabilitation projects through a partnership between the Ministry of Education and Youth and the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) under the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) Basic Needs Trust Fund, with counterpart funding from the Government of Jamaica.
