Chief of Defence Staff, Vice Admiral Antonette Wemyss-Gorman (centre), and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Jacqueline Green-Scaffe, receive a symbolic key from Japan’s Ambassador to Jamaica, His Excellency Yasuhiro Atsumi, to mark the official handover of five maritime vessels to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and Jamaica Defence Force (JDF). The vessels were donated by the Government of Japan. The handover ceremony was held at the JDF Coast Guard Base in Port Royal, Kingston, on Thursday (April 10).
