Jamaicans Urged to Treat Senior Citizens with Respect and Care

Minister of Labour and Social Security, Hon. Pearnel Charles Jr. (fifth right) and Director of the National Council for Senior Citizens (NCSC), Cassandra Morrison (right), join senior citizens and volunteers at the food sampling event dubbed ‘Mission MannaPack – Jamaican Style’, held at the NCSC’s West King’s House Road location in Kingston on Tuesday (April 8). The event, hosted by NCSC in partnership with Food For the Poor, saw senior citizens showing off their creativity in preparing meals to enhance the MannaPack Rice meal provided through the Meals on Wheels Programme.
