Govt Implements Integrated Vector Control Programme

Health Minister, Hon. Dr. Fenton Ferguson (second right), with key stakeholders involved in the administration of the Ministry’s four-year $2.8 billion (€22 million) European Union (EU)-funded Programme for the Reduction of Maternal and Child Mortality (PROMAC), following the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing, at the Jamaica Conference Centre, downtown Kingston, for the training of over 1,000 health workers attached to primary and secondary health institutions islandwide, under PROMAC, over the next six months. The training will be administered by American health organization, Footprints Foundation.
