In an effort to eradicate the Aedes aegypti mosquitoes that cause dengue, the Ministry, through the National Health Fund (NHF), has earmarked more than $130 million and more than 1,000 temporary vector workers to search and destroy mosquito breeding sites across the island as well as to boost public education on the disease.
