A National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) worker clears branches from Mandela Park, Half-Way Tree, the site selected for the National Labour Day project. Preparatory work has begun at the Park by the NSWMA and the Jamaica Defence Force. Labour Day will be observed on Monday, May 23 under the theme ‘Re-igniting a Nation for Greatness – Protect our Heritage and Environment’.
