Prime Minister the Hon. Bruce Golding’s Town Hall meetings will take a new twist on Tuesday, October 6, when there will be a special session for the Mona community of the University of the West Indies (UWI).
The meeting is expected to reach a wide cross section of Jamaicans, including those with academic and business interests as well as bright, qualified young people about to enter the job market.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Assembly Hall, the meeting will be hosted by Taylor Hall and is a part of the Hall’s anniversary celebrations.
With the Prime Minister will be the Minister of Education, Hon. Andrew Holness, who will make an address, and Minister without Portfolio with responsibility for Information, Telecommunications and Special Projects, Hon. Daryl Vaz.
This special Town Hall meeting is the eighth in the series aimed at giving the public direct access to the Prime Minister to discuss matters of national importance.
