TAJ Web Service Remains Offline to Facilitate Upgrade

The public is advised that the Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) web service will remain offline for a further 24 hours to accommodate a major upgrade.

  • As a result all online transactions, including the filing of tax returns, payment of taxes and fees, as well as the Property Tax query feature will remain unavailable to the public during this period.
  • The administration is working with developers to have the system back online by midnight, at which time the new TAJ Enterprise Portal, integrating all its web services will be available.

The public is advised that the Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) web service will remain offline for a further 24 hours to accommodate a major upgrade. As a result all online transactions, including the filing of tax returns, payment of taxes and fees, as well as the Property Tax query feature will remain unavailable to the public during this period.

The administration is working with developers to have the system back online by midnight, at which time the new TAJ Enterprise Portal, integrating all its web services will be available.

The public is reminded that they may continue to carry out their transactions at any of the 29 Tax Offices located across the island.
