As the 2009/10 Budget Debate draws to a close this week, Prime Minister the Hon. Bruce Golding will make his contribution in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, May 5, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
His presentation will bring to three, the number of contributions which have been made by members of the Government, which also included those from Finance and the Public Service Minister Hon. Audley Shaw, who opened the Debate on April 23, and Industry, Investment, and Commerce Minister Hon. Karl Samuda, on April 29.
Members of the Parliamentary Opposition have also made contributions to the Debate. They include Leader of the Opposition, the Most Hon. Portia Simpson Miller; Opposition Spokesman on Finance, Dr. Omar Davies; and Opposition Spokesman on Agriculture, Roger Clarke.
Minister Shaw will close the Debate on Wednesday, May 6.
After the completion of the Budget Debate, other members of the House of Representatives will make their presentations in the Sectoral Debate, which follows.
