The work of JSEZA

Many persons overseas are looking to do business in Jamaica. Our close proximity to key markets in North and Central America, ready pool of talent, and business friendly environment makes Jamaica very attractive.

One of the key tools the Government uses to facilitate foreign direct investment into Jamaica is through Special Economic Zones (SEZs) which are areas in a country that are subject to different economic regulations than most other regions.

SEZs are administered by the Jamaica Special Economic Zone Authority (JSEZA). Listen in as Interim Chief Executive Officer at JSEZA Kelly-Dawn Hamilton walks us through the work of the authority and how it helps investors thrive on the island.
