Promise Learning Centre 25th Anniversary

The Government is keen on agriculture playing an even greater role in the country’s economic growth, and in keeping with this thrust, special effort is being made to ensure our people develop an appreciation of the sector from a young age. As such the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) recently partnered with Jamaica 4-H Clubs to reintroduce the School Garden Feeding Programme to several schools in Trelawny. The 800 students at Penwood High School in St. Andrew, are now benefitting from a recent infrastructure upgrade with the School now boasting a new state-of the-art information and communications technology (ICT) Centre. The centre was established with support from the Overseas Examinations Commission, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, and other stakeholders.
