Jamaica’s Promise – St. Andrew Technical High Celebrates 65 years

Sixty-five years ago, in April 1961, St. Andrew Technical High School more popularly referred to as STATHS, was established out of a bold vision for education by former Governor-General Sir Florizel Glasspole during his time as Education Minister. Developed in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the institution opened its doors to just 130 students and 8 teachers.
