The Northern Caribbean University, NCU, Invitational Debate Series, hosted by the Department of Communication Studies was inspired by the idea of the great debate and aims to promote advocacy by challenging debaters from local and international universities to advocate, propose, and defend arguments.
Convenor of the debate series and chair of NCU’s Department of Communication Studies, Ms. Noreen Daley, emphasizes the significance of the event by reaffirming that debating is a skill that encourages intellectual growth and critical thinking.
