Each year the National Honours and Awards Ceremony sees hundreds of exceptional Jamaicans being rewarded for their contributions to nation building. However, many recipients are also citizens of other countries, who have dedicated their lives to serving Jamaica in different ways. Reporter Twila Wheelan recently sat down with one such individual, Fernando Salazar Fuentes who shared about his contributions to the Jamaican embassy in Mexico that merited the award for the badge of long and faithful service.
