MOEY International Literacy Day Celebration

Since 1967, September 8^th of each year is observed globally as International Literacy Day, to remind policy-makers, practitioners, and the public of the importance of literacy for creating a more just, peaceful, and sustainable society. On International Literacy Day 2024 the Ministry of Education and Youth held a virtual Literacy Day Celebration exploring the global theme “Promoting multilingual education: Literacy for mutual understanding and peace”
