Jamaica’s Promise – Kemuel Brown Outstanding St. Thomas Student

At the age of eleven, Kemuel Brown, former head boy of Morant Bay Primary School, achieved academic success beyond all expectations, by simultaneously passing his Primary Exit Profile (PEP) examinations and the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) English Language/ English A exams. Kemuel said that his mother Devmarie Blake-Brown, vice principal of Morant Bay Primary School, who tutored CSEC English to students far older than him, was the one who sparked his interest in English Language.
