Jamaica’s Promise – Genesis Academy Work Experience Program

Jamaica’s Promise – Genesis Academy Work Experience Program

The Genesis Academy in Kingston provides high school education for children with learning challenges. It caters to students diagnosed as slow learners, autistic, having cerebral palsy and Down’s Syndrome to name a few. Recently the institution began incorporating a work experience program into its curriculum with the goal of equipping students to smoothly transition into wider society and the world of work.
