Jamaica’s Promise – 4-H Innovator Awardee for Aquaponic System Tanoya Garvey

With her award-winning aquaponic system, Tanoya Garvey, a grade 13 student at Mary Mount High School, is hoping to make a huge impact in the agriculture business. The Eighteen-year-old took home the national award in Agri-Technology and Innovation at the Jamaica 4-H Clubs’ National Achievement Expo held earlier this year at the 4-H Centre in Denbigh, Clarendon.
