Director of Children and Family Programmes at the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA), Warren Thompson (right), displays the cover of a story book to grade-two students at the Bamboo Primary and Junior High School in St. Ann during Read Across Jamaica Day on Tuesday (May 3). “Floreat collegium, Fervet Opus in Campis – May the College Flourish….Work is burning in the field and for Jamaica College, that fire blazed brighter than ever this past weekend, rising above their competition at the recently concluded ISSA Boys and Girls Championships. The boys of 189 Old Hope Road delivered a performance of power, precision, and pride, racking up a whopping 345 points to claim the Mortimer-Geddes Trophy.
