Jamaica’s Promise – 14th Sitting of the National Youth Parliament

The Ministry of Education and Youth in collaboration with the Houses of Parliament hosted the14th sitting of the National Youth Parliament of Jamaica (NYPJ) on November 27 at Gordon House. The event was the culmination of activities to mark Youth month. The parliamentary proceedings were held under the theme: ‘The Year of the Youth: Trending for a sustainable Future’ The youth parliamentarians, all aged between 15- and 29-years-old, had the opportunity to express their views, network, and debate issues of national concern in the House of Representatives.
