Electronic Health Record System To Be Rolled Out

An Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management System is to be rolled out shortly in 13 health facilities. Cabinet has also awarded of a 5 million US dollar contract to Phoenix Partnership (Leeds) Limited for the implementation of the second stage of the system over 18 months.

The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) is looking to identify a new date for the completion of the ongoing 2022 Population and Housing Census. The undertaking, which commenced last September, was slated to end on March 31 but according to STATIN Director General, Carol Coy, several administrative issues slowed the pace at which the data collection exercise was progressing. Those have since been addressed.
