Career Talk – Ministry of National Security Job Fair

Over a hundred young people were exposed to job opportunities in a variety of fields in National Security during the Ministry of National Security’s inaugural Job Fair, held on Friday October 6 at the Girl Guides Headquarters in Kingston. Applications were invited for a wide range of positions, including top managerial posts and line employees such as paralegals, architects, engineers, and armory attendants.

Naturally this has fueled the demand for professionals in the field.  Accordingly, the government of Jamaica is affording 30 young Jamaicans the opportunity to be trained and certified in cybersecurity through the National Cyber Security Youth Training Programme.
