Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Starting Anti-Trafficking In Persons Clubs in Schools Initiative

    Feature | October 7, 2019
Human Trafficking is a global criminal activity, where humans, mainly against their will are traded for sexual exploitation, forced labour, domestic servitude, debt bondage and organs. The crime involves three interrelated activities: recruitment by deception or force; transportation across borders legally or illegally or within a country; and exploitation. Head of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Vice Squad in the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Carl Berry says children are one of the more vulnerable targets for human trafficking.
