Fayval Williams, exchange greetings during a ceremony for the handover of solar kits held on May 27 at the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ) Auditorium in Kingston. At the event, the Ministry of Education, through the National Education Trust, received solar kits on behalf of 14 high schools, which will be used for electrical instruction at the beneficiary institutions. The distribution supports the Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology’s mandate of popularisng science in schools, as well as advancing the push for renewable technologies. Overall, 44 solar kits will be donated to 21 learning institutions to be used for demonstration purposes.
