Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Deanroy Bernard, looks on as Christine Reynolds places flowers on the grave of her father, the late Zion Revivalist leader, Mallica “Kapo” Reynolds. Her brother, Robert Reynolds is at right. The special gathering was held to commemorate the 114th anniversary of Kapo’s birth. A leader in the Zion Revivalist movement, Kapo was respected locally and internationally for his significant contribution to religion and the arts. He died on February 24, 1989 at age 78.
