The Police Traffic Headquarters has advised the ODPEM that ONLY HEAVY DUTY VEHICLES CAN ACCESS THE PORTMORE CAUSEWAY, as the water is rising again.
NO SMALL VEHCILES WILL BE ALLOWED.
The National Works Agency has advised the ODPEM on the following road conditions:
CLEARED ROADS
St. Catherine
THE CAUSEWAY IS NOW OPEN TO SINGLE LANE TRAFFIC. SMALL VEHICLES ARE ASKED TO PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION. The National Works Agency, Bouyges and the Port Authority are in the process of instituting temporary measures to alleviate the flooding on the Portmore Causeway.
