Managing Director, Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC), Colin Campbell (right),  speaks to Deputy Managing Director in charge of Engineering and Technical Services at the company’s Ashenheim Road Maintenance facility, John Campbell, about windshields which are stored at that facility, during a tour  on August 27. The Managing Director, accompanied by several JUTC executives, also visited the company’s Spanish Town and Portmore depots, as well as the Half-Way-Tree Transport Centre. Several buses which were out of service for lengthy periods have been repaired in time for the start of the new school term, starting on September 1.  This follows an intensive maintenance programme carried out by the JUTC during the summer.

JUTC to Add 100 Buses to KMTR Monday

A large crowd had converged at that location to register for their smarter cards ahead of the official roll out of the JUTC’s new Electronic Fare Collection System or cashless system on September 1.
