The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management is advising that the following areas are to be evacuated:

Persons from these communities may shelter at the following shelters within Portmore:
HEART Academy Gregory Park Primary Kensington Primary Ascot High Hellshire United Church Cumberland High School Southboro Primary Port Henderson Primary

St Andrew
In St Andrew residents of the communities of Nine and Ten Miles must evacuate to their shelter at the St Benedicts Church and Harbour View Primary. Residents of Port Royal must evacuate to their Shelter at the National Arena. Transportation will be provided between 5-7 p.m. today for residents of Port Royal and Nine and Ten Miles.
In addition motorists are advised to exercise caution when using the Main Road at Holland Bamboo as it is inundated.
