Neville James Now a Member of the Broadcasting Commission

Communications Consultant, Mr. Neville James, has been appointed as a member of the Broadcasting Commission. The appointment was made by the Governor-General to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Miss Erica Gordon.
Mr. James, a graduate of Carleton University in Canada, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, has occupied senior positions in journalism in Jamaica and Canada and capped his mass media involvement with the establishment of KLAS FM 89 radio station.
Outside of media, he served in leadership positions at the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica.
Mr. James has been a director of several boards and has received awards from the Advertising Association of Jamaica, the Media Association of Jamaica and KLAS FM 89.
Currently he serves as Communications Consultant/Advisor to the Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports, the Honourable Olivia “Babsy” Grange.
