The National Land Agency (NLA) has unveiled its latest customer engagement platform, ‘NLA Connect’, which aims to revolutionise client service delivery and communication within the organisation.
The portal is designed to provide a seamless, user-friendly and transparent system where customers can raise concerns, make suggestions and receive real-time responses. It reflects the agency’s ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery through technology.
The platform was officially launched on Thursday (March 20) at the NLA’s Land Title Division, 93 Hanover Street, downtown Kingston.
Speaking during the launch, Chief Executive Officer, Cheriese Walcott, described the initiative as a major advancement in improving customer interactions and service efficiency.
“NLA Connect… is a cutting-edge customer-engagement platform that marks a significant milestone in our journey towards delivering exceptional customer service and driving innovation within the National Land Agency,” she stated.
The CEO underscored the significance of leveraging digital solutions to improve public access to NLA services.
“As we navigate the fast-paced, technology-driven world of today, we understand the critical importance of having a system that empowers our customers and gives us direct, efficient and transparent communication,” she added.
Among its standout features, NLA Connect serves as a direct channel for addressing data-protection concerns, allowing customers to report privacy issues and receive timely resolutions. This aligns with the agency’s broader commitment to governance and data security.
The initiative supports the Government’s push for service excellence by fostering greater transparency, accountability and responsiveness in public-sector operations.
Ms. Walcott said NLA Connect represents a strategic shift towards modernising public service delivery.
“By providing a direct channel for customer feedback and concerns, this platform ensures transparency, accountability and responsiveness in our processes and empowers us to continuously improve our service,” she said.
As part of its modernisation agenda, the NLA is encouraging active public engagement with the platform to maximise its benefits.
“This platform is designed with you in mind. We are here to listen, assist and support you along every step of your journey,” Ms. Walcott affirmed.
