Mayor Pledges to Ensure Maintenance of Law and Order in St. James
Participants at the second workshop on ‘Targeted Public Policies for the Prevention and Reduction of Intentional Homicide’, held at the Directorate of Training and Doctrine at the Jamaica Defence Force in Kingston, on December 13. The project was designed and is being implemented by the Department of Public Security of the Organization of American States (OAS) Secretariat for Multi-dimensional Security. Beneficiary countries include Jamaica, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. The participants included public servants representing different State institutions of prevention, police and justice that are directly involved in the prevention and reduction of intentional homicides in their respective countries.
