Caymanas to Linstead Highway 80 Per Cent Complete
Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller greets Jamaican workers on the Caymanas to Treadways leg of the North South Highway during a tour of the road project on Wednesday, October 28. The Prime Minister thanked the workers for their role in ensuring that the highway, which is 80% completed, would be finished within the stated project timeline for opening by early 2016. Approximately 1,000 Jamaicans are employed on the project.
