Citizens, including teachers, parents, students and workmen from across the Bethel Town and adjoining areas turned out to carry out refurbishing works on the Bethel Town Community Centre and Basic School, which has been selected as the parish project for Labour Day 2014. Work is also being carried out on the Whithorn police station, the second parish project for Westmoreland.
