Cabinet Gives Approval For Supply And Delivery Of Pumping Units

Cabinet has given approval for the award of a contract for the supply and delivery of four Flowserve Horizontal Pumping Units for the Gutters and Spur Tree Facilities, under the Greater Mandeville Water Supply Improvement Project, Manchester Phase 1A to 9.

The contract has been awarded to Industrial and Municipal Supplies Incorporated in the amount US$2,403,771.60.

This was disclosed by Minister of Education, Youth and Information, Hon. Fayval Williams, during a virtual post Cabinet Press briefing, today (February 24).

Cabinet also gave approval for the award of a contract for the Cathodic Protection System Rehabilitation Zone 6 and 7 Petrojam Limited to Barnaby Engineering and Testing Services Limited in the amount of J$109,711,941.27.

Meanwhile, Cabinet gave approval for the award of a contract for the supply and delivery of 2,000 quarter-acre drip irrigation kits for the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to Isratech Jamaica Limited in the amount of J$125,675,795.
