Scores of students and teachers from secondary and primary schools across the island gathered at The Manning’s School in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, on Tuesday, March 26 for its inaugural STEM Day 2024 under the theme ‘STEM Solutions for a Sustainable Future’. The objectives of the day were to raise awareness on career opportunities in STEM, to empower students to address climate change through their STEM Climate Change Challenge; and to provide the learning opportunities for participants through exhibits, presentations and demonstrations.
