Oftentimes the discussions around mental health tend to focus on adults and the solutions available to help them address their personal issues. However, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) 10% of children and adolescents worldwide are dealing with a mental disorder. The majority of them do not seek help or receive care. With this in mind, Regional psychologist at the Child Protection & Family Services Agency (CPFSA), Melody Samuels is urging parents and guardians to take advantage of the measures in place to care for children dealing with mental health challenges.
