Jamaica’s Promise – Old Harbour Primary Works to Improve Student Learning

Principal of Old Harbour Primary school, George Goode says his institution recorded tremendous passes in the 2023 sitting of the Primary Exit Profile Examinations, securing a 64% pass rate. Although this was not the school’s best year, Mr. Goode says this year’s results exceeded the staff’s expectations, and demonstrate that Old Harbour Primary is overcoming the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on its cohort of students.
