Portia Simpson Miller (centre), is presented with a copy of the architectural design for the proposed Union Gardens Infant School, by Director of the Union Gardens Foundation (UGF), Gary Hendrickson (left), while Chairman of CARI-MED and UGF, Glen Christian (right), shares the moment. Occasion was the launch of the project on March 4, at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston. The project will benefit some 150 students in the South West St. Andrew community.
