The Full Story

Construction of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) St. Catherine North Police Divisional Headquarters will begin in the 2025/26 fiscal year, through a $700-million budgetary allocation.

Details of the project are outlined in the 2025/26 Estimates of Expenditure tabled in the House of Representatives recently by Minister of Finance and the Public Service, Hon. Fayval Williams.

For this fiscal year, the money will go towards completing 30 per cent of the project, which involves construction of a modern fit-for-purpose three-storey building spanning approximately 43,000 square feet.

The project, which aims to increase the capacity and comfort of police officers assigned to the division, is being financed by the Government and is being implemented by the Ministry of National Security.
