At 4:00 a.m. the centre of Tropical Depression Seven was located near Latitude 13.6 degrees north and Longitude 47.2 degrees west or about 1,495 kilometres east of the Windward Islands.
The Depression is moving towards the west near 32 km/h. This general motion is expected to continue for the next 48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 55 km/h, with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours and the Depression could become a tropical storm later today.

ERNESTO WEAKENS OVER MEXICO
At 4:00 a.m. the centre of Tropical Depression Ernesto was located near Latitude 18.0 degrees north and Longitude 97.7 degrees west or about 160 Km northwest of Oaxaca, Mexico.
Ernesto is moving towards the west near 20 km/h. This general motion should continue until Ernesto dissipates later today.
Maximum sustained winds have decrease to near 55 km/h, with higher gusts. Further weakening is forecast until the cyclone dissipates.
Tropical Depression Ernesto is not a threat to Jamaica.
